Funeral, Cremation and Cemetery Services for Midland Families
Immediate help is available 24 hours a day. Call (432) 563-9767.
When someone dies, the next steps can feel overwhelming. Your family should not also have to coordinate several companies or wonder who is responsible at each stage. American Heritage Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematory serves Midland and Midland County from our family-owned campus at 4100 N FM 1788.
Our funeral home, on-site crematory and cemetery of more than 30 acres are brought together under one caring team. Funeral arrangements, cremation, cemetery property, burial and memorialization can all be coordinated through American Heritage, while services may be held in our chapel, at a local church or place of worship, or graveside at American Heritage Cemetery.
Funeral and memorial services
Every family has its own traditions, relationships and ways of remembering. We help Midland families arrange traditional funeral services and celebrations of life, then coordinate the details through one local team. A service may be held in our chapel, at your church or place of worship, or graveside, depending on what is right for your family.

Cremation on our campus
Our crematory is located on the American Heritage campus. When a family chooses cremation, their loved one does not need to be transferred to an outside crematory in another town after entering our care. The same local team remains responsible throughout the process, with no third-party crematory and no unnecessary gap in accountability.

Cemetery, burial and memorialization
American Heritage Cemetery spans more than 30 acres. Families can explore a range of cemetery property, burial and memorialization options in the same place where funeral and cremation arrangements are made.
We also coordinate monuments and markers from start to finish. Keeping those details connected through one team can make a difficult process more manageable for the family.

Care for veterans and their families
We help veteran families understand available military honors and benefits, and we offer special veteran property pricing. Our staff can help bring the funeral, cemetery and memorial details together while honoring the service of the person who has died.
Support after the loss of an infant
For families who lose an infant, we waive our basic services fee for the funeral director and staff. We also typically provide either cremation or a casket at no charge and may donate a grave space. Marker costs are not included.
No family should have to navigate that loss alone. Call us, and we will explain what is available and walk with you through each decision with care.
Planning ahead
Preplanning gives you an opportunity to record your wishes, understand the available choices and reduce the number of decisions your family may need to make later. American Heritage can help you coordinate funeral, cremation, cemetery and memorialization plans in one place.

Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After office hours, a live answering service that works exclusively with funeral homes answers your call and connects you with our on-call funeral director. Families can reach a real person and begin receiving help at any hour.
