Funeral and burial packages
Funeral Package
Preparation and embalming, viewing and visitation, and a traditional funeral ceremony at your church or in our chapel.
Caskets are selected separately.
Cemetery Package
For burial in our upright monument section. Includes the outer burial container, opening and closing of the grave, and the burial grave space.
Caskets
Your casket selection is separate from the Funeral Package.
Cremation packages
Traditional Service Followed by Cremation
A traditional funeral service, with cremation afterward.
Cremation Followed by a Memorial Service
We care for your loved one first. Your family gathers afterward, in our chapel or at your own church.
Direct Cremation
Cremation with everything essential and nothing more.

The packages above are the paths most families choose. Our General Price List is the full itemized list, including individual funeral, cremation and cemetery goods and services beyond these packages.
Infants and children
For families who lose an infant, we waive our basic services fee for the funeral director and staff. We also typically provide either cremation or a casket at no charge and may donate a grave space. Marker costs are not included.
The basic services fee is 50% off for children under 12.
Veteran cemetery property
Veterans interred at American Heritage may qualify for reduced property pricing in our Garden of Calvary, with a copy of the DD-214 as proof of service.
Upright monument property is $2,000 for a veteran, compared with $3,000 in the same section. Flat monument property is $1,695 for a veteran, compared with $2,000.

Why funeral and cemetery costs are separate
Funeral home services and cemetery arrangements are two different parts of caring for someone.
The Funeral Package covers preparation, visitation and the service itself. Cemetery property, the grave, opening and closing, and the outer burial container are cemetery costs, handled through the Cemetery Package.
Keeping them separate makes it easier to see what each part pays for.
