American Heritage operates an on-site crematory on the same campus as our funeral home and cemetery. After your loved one enters our care, there is no need for a transfer to an outside crematory in another town. The same local team remains responsible throughout the process.
That continuity gives families something simple but important: a clear understanding of who is caring for their loved one and where that care is taking place.

Cemetery, burial and memorialization
American Heritage Cemetery spans more than 30 acres and gives Odessa families a range of burial and memorialization options in one peaceful West Texas setting.
Families who choose burial can coordinate funeral arrangements and cemetery needs through the same organization rather than having to manage separate providers. Care for veterans and their families
Veterans and their families often face paperwork, benefits questions, and ceremonial details at the same time they are planning a service. We help families understand available veterans benefits, coordinate military honors, and offer special veteran property pricing.
Our staff can walk through the process with you so that the service reflects the veteran's life and service while the practical details are handled carefully.
Support after the loss of an infant
For families who lose an infant, we waive our basic services fee for the funeral director and staff. We also typically provide either cremation or a casket at no charge and may donate a grave space. Marker costs are not included.
