Our Team

Bekah has been at American Heritage since 2007. She co-owns the business and is our licensed funeral director in charge.

She came to Midland from Fort Stockton when she was small and grew up here. A West Texas woman through and through.

Bekah lives for her boys, Daniel and Jonathan.

"The Healing Starts Here" began with her.

David came to American Heritage in 2007 after more than ten years at AT&T. For a time he tried to do both, until he realized he had to choose one. He chose American Heritage.

Four years later, David and Bekah built the funeral home on the same property as the cemetery and crematory. They are the first generation of their family in funeral and cemetery service.

David and Bekah have been married since 2002 and have two sons, Jonathan and Daniel. He says the work is not always easy, but he has found more meaning in helping families here than he ever found at AT&T.

Sema joined American Heritage in November 2023. She graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in June 2025 and earned her funeral director’s license that September.

Sema’s favorite job is being a mama to her son, Teo. Their household also includes two cats, Frankie and Vinnie, and two dogs, Cherry and Pudge. Her free time goes to eating out, time with Teo, and the people and pets she loves most.

Collin joined American Heritage in February 2026. He is a lifelong West Texan, and he considers it an honor to follow God’s calling in his life, which is to walk families through some of the hardest days they will have, and to help them build something meaningful for the person they have lost.

Away from work, Collin’s greatest joy is time with his daughter and visits with family in the DFW area. He travels when he can, goes to football games and live music, hunts and fishes, and cooks Texas barbecue for the people he loves.
