Patricia Fulton

Patricia Fulton, affectionately known as "Lil Bit," passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 91, surrounded by the love of her family at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Born on December 3, 1933, in Rio Hondo, Texas, to Walter and Thema Elizabeth (Rosson) Fletcher, Patricia was a spirited woman who embraced life with boundless energy and a steadfast faith. She married the love of her life, Jacob Earnestine "John" Fulton, creating a legacy of love and resilience that has touched generations. Patricia was a proud and passionate choir singer, finding joy in lifting her voice in praise. She was deeply devoted to her family, filling every role-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother-with love, humor, and strength. Known for her fiery spirit and sharp wit, she was a "spitfire" in the best sense, and her faith was the bedrock of her life. An adventurer at heart, Patricia was a true trailblazer. She drove a truck across the United States until the remarkable age of 88, holding permits for all 50 states. Her truck, like her radiant smile, became a symbol of her resilience and determination. Patricia is survived by her three children: Deborah Brittain (JT), Carl Fulton, and Button Fulton (Mary); eight grandchildren: Charlsa Brittain, Tonya Minar (Jason), Jamie Antu (Joey), Ty Fulton, Zack Fulton, Jessica Fulton, Kristi Fulton, and Kara Fulton; nineteen great-grandchildren: James Porter, Sabrina Chandler, Jacob Hartsell, Bryson Minar, Rylee Gasaway, Gavin Antu, Makalyn Fulton, Nick Fulton, Nate Fulton, Willow Fulton, Josh Ramirez, Nick Ramirez, Boudre Williams, Skeeter Williams, John "Krystiaan" Fulton, Katelynn Graham, Ireland Fulton, Lauren Eubank, Brandon Eubank; and ten great-great-grandchildren: Denton Chandler, Nash Chandler, Jayci Stinson, Freya Hartsell, Nevaeh Ramirez, Linsey Hall, Emily Hall, Zander Hall, Haveyn Williams, and Alayina Williams; and one brother, Franklin Lee Fletcher. She also leaves behind her barking sidekick, Casper. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jacob "John" Fulton; her son, Darrel Fulton; three grandchildren: Jason Fulton, Jeremy Fulton, and Joshuea Fulton; great-grandchild, Abigail Graham; parents, Walter and Thelma Fletcher; four siblings: Charles Fletcher, Marjorie Jenise Plante, Frances Smith, and Harold Fletcher; and daughter in law, Carla Fulton. Patricia's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her tenacity, her unwavering love, and her ability to brighten any room with her smile. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Fulton Family Cemetery on the family ranch, where Patricia will be laid to rest beside her late husband. Her truck may no longer grace the highways, but Patricia's memory will forever steer the hearts of those she leaves behind. The family will hold a gathering immediately following the funeral service at 207 W Gulf Ave in Goldsmith, Texas, 79741.
