United in love, Lorenzo married Bertha Elvira (Estrada) on August 14, 1976, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Together, they carved a path filled with faith, family, and resilience. Lorenzo's legacy lives on through his spouse, Bertha Elvira Dominguez; daughter, Leonor Dominguez (Mark Reese); and cherished grandchildren: Scotland Devon Butler, Mia Amos Hitchcock (Aaron), Gabriel Jacob Dominguez, and Mariah Anjolie Dominguez. In addition to his immediate family, Lorenzo leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with the threads of brotherhood. Survived by brothers Lorenzo Dominguez and Reyes Dominguez, he reunites with those who preceded him in death, including his daughter Mayra Dominguez and siblings Antonia Dominguez de Nunez, Mercedes Dominguez de Padilla, Guadalupe Dominguez de Ponce, Jesus Lucio Dominguez, Odilon Dominguez, and Maria De Jesus Dominguez. Lorenzo's journey in America was a testament to his enduring spirit. Having settled in Texas, he toiled for over 40 years at places like Racquet Club, The Garlic Press, and Jorge's, retiring only in his early 70s, a testament to his unwavering commitment to providing for his loved ones. He maintained an exemplary work ethic and never missed a day. His dedication to hard work and sacrifice embodied a dream fulfilled. Beyond his professional pursuits, Lorenzo's heart resonated with the rhythm of faith. A stalwart believer, he actively participated in various church activities, leaving an indelible mark on the community he held dear. His devotion extended beyond blood ties, as Lorenzo was not only a devoted father but also a father figure to many. As we gather to remember and honor Lorenzo, a viewing will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary commencing at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Midland, followed by a burial in American Heritage Cemetery-a final resting place for a man whose journey touched the hearts of many.
