Kymbreal Suena Holt

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kymbreal Suena Holt, 17, of Odessa, TX, who left this world on August 28, 2024, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Born on June 1, 2007, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Clinton Holt and Damesha Klasha Ross, Kymbreal was a vibrant and spirited young woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. As a Junior at Permian High School, she was a dedicated member of the ROTC program and had aspirations of joining the National Guard upon graduation, a testament to her strong sense of duty and commitment. Kymbreal had a zest for life that was truly infectious. She loved to dance and approached life with a belief that she could do anything and everything. Her intelligence and character shone brightly in all she did, whether she was engrossed in a good book, sharing a laugh with friends, or simply enjoying the company of her large and loving family. Fun-loving and full of life, Kymbreal brought joy to those around her and will be remembered for her indomitable spirit and warm heart. She is survived by her loving parents, Damesha Klasha Ross and William Clinton Holt (Destiny); her eleven beloved siblings: JaHire Holt, Jermany Jackson, Na'Lesha Briggs, Nation Briggs, Ne'Koe Wells, Yourie Wells, Tyski Wells III, Isaiah Pierce, Ezekiel Holt, Veshonae Holt, and William Holt Jr.; her maternal grandfather, Derrick Black (Chrystal); her great-grandmother, Debra Kaye Ross; and her great-grandfather, Odell Whitley. She is also survived by her aunts, Saysha Ross, Kanesha Ross, Nebrasia Black, and and Evelyn Tunson; uncles, Neko Ross, Denzel Ross, Samuel Ross, Derrick Williams, Adrian Byas, Ryan Brown, and Chance Kirk, as well as a host of other loving family members. Special friends include Hayden, Moses, Junior, Carrion, Briana Parra, Briana, and Tramel Moore Jr. A huge thanks goes to (RET) SFC Bernard R. Hooper, the extended family she found in JROTC, and the staff at Permian High School. Kymbreal is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Kimberly Ross and Betty Jean Black; great-grandmothers, Carolyn Skinner and Kathy Thurman; great-grandfathers, Andrew Black and Herbert Lewis; uncle, Derriko Ross; and great-aunts, Ruthie Mae Johnson and Theresia Ross-Hardnett. Kymbreal’s light may have been dimmed too soon, but her memory will forever illuminate the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 4:00 PM at Greater St. John Baptist Church, 212 S. Muskingum in Odessa. Viewing will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 3:00 PM.
