With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Noe Ray Sanchez, aged 25, on June 22, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1997, in Odessa, Texas, to parents Claudia Vasquez and Ramon Sanchez Jr. Known for his warm and bright spirit, Noe was a cherished presence who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Noe's life was marked by his infectious smile, the way he naturally became the life of any party, and his unfailing ability to find the good in everyone. His heart was made of gold, and he was generous to a fault, often offering assistance in any way he could, even if it meant giving you the shirt off his back. Noe was genuinely kind, with a charismatic presence that lit up any room. He was a social butterfly and had quite a knack for charming everyone he met. Known for his extroverted nature and his love for socializing, Noe truly was the VIP of all social scenes; in fact, it was joked that he only worked a job to be able to socialize! He had a great sense of humor and often lightened the mood with his catchphrase, "It's not easy being cheesy." Noe was known for his distinct style, often changing outfits for different occasions within the same day. His mesmerizing eyes and killer smile are imprinted in the memories of all who knew him. He was deeply protective, serving as the bodyguard for his mother and the protector of his older brother. Despite his inability to take care of a car, his spirit was never dampened; he took everything with a grain of salt and let nothing bring him down. Noe has now been reunited with his beloved grandfather Ramon Sanchez, great-grandfathers Eustacio Vasquez and Apolonio Ortiz, Great Uncle Heriberto Vasquez, cousin Erica Lee Ortiz, uncle Ruben Acosta and Great Uncle Manuel (Bombie) Lopez Jr. He is survived by his mother, Claudia Vasquez, and his father, Ramon (Mono) Sanchez, both from Odessa, Texas. His stepdad, Joel Rodriguez, and stepmom Kristi Garcia, also from Odessa, Texas, mourn his loss. Noe leaves behind his siblings, Ramon (Monito) Sanchez, Jr., Isaac Sanchez, Kevin Sanchez, Krystal Sanchez, Yesenia Casas, Mercedes Leard, Emily Garcia, Sebastian Garcia. Noe also leaves to cherish his memory, maternal grandparents, Mario and Margarita Vasquez from Kermit, Texas, and paternal grandmother, Rosa Sanchez; his maternal great-grandmother, Esiquia Ortiz, and his paternal great-grandmother, Obdulia Vasquez, both from Kermit, Texas; uncles, Margarito Vasquez and family from Kermit, Texas, Mario Alberto Vasquez and family from Andrews, Texas, and Nathan Lee Vasquez of Kermit, Texas, Sergio (Ruby) Sanchez and Fabian Sanchez; nieces, Angela Y. Casas, Ymaris Casas, Ylandra Casas, Ylila Casas, and nephew, Luke Salcido. Arrangements for Noe Ray Sanchez are being handled by American Heritage Cemetery Funeral Home and Crematory in Midland, Texas; viewing on June 27, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM, with rosary following that same day in the evening at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM with burial immediately following at American Heritage Cemetery.
