Gregory Lee Burlingame

Gregory Lee Burlingame, 57, of Odessa, TX passed away on February 21, 2022, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Gregory was born on October 3, 1964, to Donald and Marilyn Joyce (Hinrichs) Burlingame in Monticello, Minnesota. At the age of 12 he and his family moved to Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1982 and married Melissa Loe Burlingame on June 21, 1986. Greg Burlingame carried on his family's business at Don's Watch Repair Shop. He was an active devoted member at Life Challenge Church. As a member, he managed the LC Coffee Shop and Youth Snack Shack. He was a steward and servant of the Lord and was always willing to assist where needed. He had many passions serving the Lord beginning with bus ministry. His passion grew as big as his heart never refusing his service to the Lord. However, his biggest passion was missions and proudly contributed to many missionaries around the world. He is survived by his spouse Melissa Loe Burlingame; two children, Amber Brook Rodriguez (husband Jesus) and David Lee Burlingame (wife Olivia); and five siblings, Tammy Mitchell (husband Richard), Cindy McDonald (husband Theo), Laurie Burlingame, Jeff Burlingame (wife Mary), and Danny Burlingame (wife Kay). He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee Burlingame and Marilyn Joyce (Hinrichs) Burlingame and two siblings, Liza Burlingame and Mike Burlingame. A viewing will begin at 12:00 PM, February 25, 2022 at Life Challenge Church with funeral service immediately following at 2:00 PM; Pastor Dan Smelser officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to American Heritage Cemetery Funeral Home Crematory in Midland.
