    Edward Ray Wesson

    July 28, 1938 - June 24, 2021

    Edward Ray Wesson was born on July 28, 1938 to E.D. and Pauline Wesson in Midland, Texas. Eddie went to be with our Lord and Saviour at age, 82, on June 24, 2021 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Eddie was raised in North Cowden and Odessa, Texas along with three sisters, Wanda, Louise and Judy. He joined the United States Army in March 1956. He married his high-school sweetheart, Annell Jones in November 1956 and they moved to Michigan where Eddie was stationed. It was here that their first child, Robin was born. Eddie spent two tours of duty in Germany. His second child. Tommy , was born during his first tour. He was also stationed at Army bases in Wisconsin and Washington. He received an honorable discharge in 1965 with the rank of Sargeant and moved back with his family to Odessa, Texas. His occupation post military consisted of being a sales representative for American Tobacco, Amway and multiple insurance companies. After moving back to Odessa, Eddie loved spending time with his father and Uncle Walter at the horse ranch , Bar Nothing. His second marriage was to Kay Stewart in 1975. In his latter years his Keeshond's, Wolf and Sam were his constant companions. He attended Greenfield Acres Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Second Chance Church, both in Odessa, Texas. He is survived by two children, Thomas Ray Wesson of Odessa, TX and Robin Elizabeth Marble, son in law, Hailey Craig Marble of Dunnellon, FL and sister, Wand
