    Daniel Cruz Loe

    May 9, 1986 - June 14, 2021

Daniel Cruz Loe, 35 passed away on June 14, 2021, at his home in Odessa, TX. Daniel (D-Loe) Cruz Loe was born on May 9, 1986, to Rebecca (Becky) Loe Walker in Odessa, Texas. Daniel was a feisty and loving child growing up. There wasn't much he was afraid of trying and it usually landed him in the ER. Daniel left Odessa for a short while and lived in Kerrville TX where he made many friends. Once you were Daniel's friend, it was for life. He came back to Odessa to work and be closer to his family. Daniel had a love for fishing and being on the lake. That is where he was completely happy and at peace. Those that truly knew him, loved him despite his struggles in life. His height and size could scare you but once he smiled, you knew he was a big teddy bear and couldn't't hurt a fly. Daniel had a sense of humor like no other. He could say something funny with a straight face, you couldn't help but laugh and then he would burst out laughing with you. He was known to check on his friends and make new friends in an instant. He was always willing to help someone who shared his same struggles, sometimes when he was struggling himself. He would do what he could to provide food, shelter, direction or to just lend an ear. Now sometimes it was at someone else's expense, but it didn't't matter. We all knew his heart was in the right place and a big heart he had. I believe Daniel fought his demons till the very end. To his friends in recovery, he loved you big and never wanted anyone to be mad at him, family or friends. Let's go out and love big. Daniel is survived by his parents, Ross and Rebecca Loe Walker, his 3 siblings, Nicole Walker, Clayton Walker, Colby Walker and wife Selena. His maternal grandparents, Cruz and Alicia Loe, Paternal grandmother Billie Jo Walker, and maternal Aunt Rachel Loe. Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Daniel had 4 nephews, Jordan, Dak, Cohen, and Colton Walker and 3 nieces, Paisley, Presley and Dora that he loved and adored. He is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Walker, his maternal Uncle, Cruz Loe Jr. and his Paternal Grandfather, Joe H. Walker. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at American Heritage Funeral Home in Midland, TX. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 22rd, 2021 at 6:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the St. Elizabeth's.
