Anna Leyva Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anna Leyva, 47, of Odessa, TX passed away on December 31, 2021 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Anna was born on March 23, 1974 to Donald Rousey and Joan Alba in Great Bend, Kansas. Anna was a loving person, had the best hugs, loved to sing and dance. She was devoted to her Family and work. She is survived by her spouse Bernabe H. Leyva; three children, Emmanuel Leyva, Jesus Leyva (Esperanza), and Kiara Leyva; one granddaughter, Hazel Leyva an one on the way; her parents, Joan Alba and Donald Mehl; seven siblings, George Alba (Alicia), LaDonna Salinas (Vladimir Perez), Brenda Montelongo (Manuel), Stella Salinas (Samuel), Amy Rousey, Brittney Rousey, and Deidra Rousey; aunt, Frances Rousey, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her biological father, Donald Rousey as well as her grandparents, George and Stella Alba. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM. Rosary will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 6:00 PM. Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home with burial immediately following at American Heritage Cemetery.
