Trevor Abram Brown

The Lord blessed us with our bright, beautiful “Bug” January 18, 2007 at 10:57 am. On July 31, 2013 at 11:45 am, God called our angel home. Some souls shine too brightly for this Earth. Trevor was such a blessing, a joy to our family and everyone that met him. Trevor loved God and “God’s green Earth.” He couldn’t pass by trash on the ground without picking it up. He had a mission to clean up Earth. He was also a saver of trees. He loved finding the seedlings of our Locust tree coming up in the yard, and replanting. Trevor loved his family and found great joy in them. He loved his bike, and his mom and he was often found traversing their neighborhood. He loved Iron Man, Spiderman, Thor, and Dash. He loved giving “squeezy” hugs and still liked a bear to hang on to go to sleep. His hugs and kisses and “I Love You’s” were the best any parent could hope for. He loved Sponge Bob, The Nightmare Before Christmas (or Jack as he called it), The Last Air Bender, Harry Potter and so much more. He was a little snuggle bug. He loved his iPad. The amount of joy and love he brought into our lives is indescribable. When he grew up, he wanted to go to college so that he could be “super” smart like Tony Stark, and be able to build an Iron Man suit. He loved his cousins so much and considered them more so like brother and sisters than cousins. Sophia, Malchaia, Jeremiah, Laurelai were joys to him. He was so excited at the pending arrival of his newest cousin Julia. He’s looking down on us all, our beautiful guardian angel. The grief at his loss has been crippling. However, his loss has not been in vain. A one year old in California received his liver. One kidney went to a child in Ft. Worth the other went to a child in Houston. His heart valves went to another child. Many thanks for all of the prayers and love from the community. Thanks to the paramedics with OFD and the staff at MCH. A very special thanks to officers Heather Carrasco and Brandon Blake for fighting so valiantly for our child. A very special thanks also to the staff at the pediatric ICU at UMC. I have never seen a better group of health care workers. Trevor is survived by his mother, Lorena O’Neal; his father, Travis Brown; his maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Mark Billings; his paternal grandparents, Kathy Brown and Eric Heard and Tracy Brown and Carrie Owens; his great grandparents, Grace and Bill Wilkerson and Margaret Owens; his aunt, Janette O’Neal and cousins, Sophia, Malchaia, Jeremiah, and Julia; his aunt Trina Gillis cousin, Laurelai; his uncle Kevin Swinford. He also is survived by so many great aunts and uncles, second, third cousins and a large extended family. In lie of flowers, please send live plants. Better yet, go clean up a highway, a park, or a parking lot, or go plant a tree. “ Ride free with the angels, little superhero.” Viewing is Thursday, August 8, 2013 at American Heritage from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 9:00 am at Sherwood Church of Christ. Interment immediately following at American Heritage Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to American Heritage Cemetery and Funeral Home.
