Roy Dale Morris, Sr.

Roy Dale Morris Sr. was born in Colorado City, Texas to Tommy A. Morris and Susie Robertson-Morris on May 12, 1952. Roy was raised and grew up in Snyder, Texas as the youngest son of 17 children. He joined the US Marine Corp serving in Vietnam from 1970 to 1976. After serving in Vietnam, he met his late wife, his first loving Angel, Glenda Faye Kendall-Morris, where they resided in Odessa and raised their children together until her sudden death in 2006. In 2011, Roy united in Love with his second loving Angel, Mary Ann Vest. They resided in Snyder where he later lost his 2nd Angel to cancer in 2017. Roy was a disabled veteran who took pride in serving his country and was a very patriotic man. Roy was a loving Father and Grandfather who cherished his time and devoted himself to. Grandpa would enjoy a house full of Grandchildren with a "No Parents Allowed" sign on his front door having a cookie jar full of cookies and boiled eggs hidden in his backyard for them to hunt for on what he called "Easter in July". Roy was a fun-loving Man who made silly jokes and phrases, told silly stories, liked to pull pranks, and always affirmed his Unconditional Love to his family. Roy will be achingly missed by his surviving members: Son's Lloyd Cummings (Gustavo) of Los Angeles, CA, Roy Morris Jr, Ricky Morris (Erin), and Douglas Morris all of Odessa. Daughter's; Fabrienne Kendall-Winfred (James) of Des Moines, Iowa and Krista Bowers (Craig) of Odessa. Grandchildren; Melyn, Andrew, Aaron, Dylan, Addison, Addelynne, Ayden, Emily, Colten, Tanner, Roxson, and Trinity. His last surviving siblings; Brother, Doug Morris of Snyder and Sister Debra Harmon (Doug) of Lubbock. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousin's, and in-laws that he held so dear to his heart. Roy is proceeded in Death by his parents, Siblings; Maxine, Doris, Mamie, Margaret, Billy, Alfred, Eldon, Eugene, Troy, Ronnie, Rickey, Douglas, Baby Norman, Baby Twin Sister Joy Gail, his 2 Special Angel's, Grandson Hunter Bowers, and his Fur Baby Vader whom he will be having a joyous reunion in the Kingdom of Heaven.
