Patricia Ann Glasgow

Patricia Ann Glasgow, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Patricia's kind heart and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Born in Kermit, Texas, to Roy Lee and Mary Estelle Stewart, Patricia spent her early years alongside her younger sister Barbara and brother Ronnie. Even from a young age, her compassionate nature shone brightly, and she was deeply loved by her siblings and childhood friends. In 1966, Patricia married Troy Sample, and together they welcomed two children, Krista Ann and Randy Lynn Sample. The family later moved to Midland, Texas, in 1977, where Patricia began a long and dedicated career as a loan officer at Commercial State Bank. Her diligence and warmth earned her the trust of colleagues and clients alike. Patricia had a creative soul and was an exceptionally talented artist. Her passion for painting, particularly murals, brought color and beauty to the homes of friends and clients. She cherished the outdoors, finding joy in camping at local lakes and spending time in nature-always drawn to the peace and simplicity it offered. Those who knew Patricia often said she was the nicest person you would ever meet. She radiated kindness, patience, and grace in everything she did. Her deep love for the Lord was evident in her life and served as a guiding light through both joyful and difficult times. After parting ways with Troy, Patricia found love again with Todd Glasgow. Their bond was deep and enduring until Todd's passing after a battle with cancer. Though she never remarried, Patricia's heart remained full through the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Mary Estelle Stewart; her son, Randy Lynn Sample; and dear loved ones Rauston Buck, Beth Buck, and Randy Buck. Patricia is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Krista and husband David Hastings; grandchildren Nichole and husband Jeff Adams, and Amber Jankowiak; great-grandchildren Jaden and Layton Adams, Keelie, and Scott Nigma. She also leaves behind her aunt Maxine Gressett, sister Barbara and husband Les Reynolds, brother Ronnie and wife Michelle Stewart, son Derek and wife Becky White, and their two children Kyle and Emma.
