Jonathan Jay Musa - Parramore

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Jay Musa-Parramore, 34, of Odessa, TX, who left us on August 30, 2024, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Born on August 18, 1990, in Denton, Texas, to Vincent Parramore and Rakia Sim Musa, Jonathan was a kind and gentle soul whose presence brought warmth to all who knew him. A true foodie at heart, Jonathan had an immense love for food, finding joy in every bite. He was equally passionate about fitness, often found at the gym, working hard to stay in shape. Though shy by nature, Jonathan's gentle and caring demeanor made him a cherished friend and family member. He was incredibly thoughtful, always putting others before himself. His loyalty and dedication were evident in every aspect of his life, from his relationships to his work at Ector County Road and Bridge, where he was known for his reliability, hard work, and positive attitude. His coworkers were blessed to know him, as he brought a smile to everyone's face and made lasting friendships. Jonathan was not just goal-oriented but driven, focused, and dedicated, sometimes with a little necessary encouragement from his beloved mom. His heart of gold shone brightly in his interactions with others, always considerate and loving, making those around him feel valued and cared for. He is survived by his loving mother, Rakia Sim Musa; his dear sister, Frances Arrendondo (Cory Winn) and her daughter, Enelett Sim Canales; and his cherished American family: Dr. Jonathan and Nacy Walker, Scott Walker (Yeimy), Amara Walker, Kimberly Vincent (John), Monique and Martin Vincent, Shari Hurtado, Christopher Hurtado, and their daughter Madelyn Hurtado; Bryan White, Khanhlinh White, and their son Winston White; Frank Roschangar, Thuylinh Roschangar; Eric Teva Merlin, Mylinh Merlin, and their children Chloe and Samantha Merlin; Hoai Linh Nguyen, Be Phetsinorath, and their children Phebe and Pax Nguyen; Jessica Sayi and Maria Baines, as well as many, many loving Nigerian family who will also hold his memory close to their hearts. Jonathan's life was a testament to the power of kindness, hard work, and love. Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the joy and light he brought into our lives.
