Jacob Fox Stanfill

Jacob Fox Stanfill of Abilene was called home by his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2016. Jacob was born December 20, 2004 in Odessa to adoring parents, Dusty Stanfill and Caitlin Barker. Jacob was an energetic boy and a dedicated student. He was currently a fifth grader at TLCA of Abilene. He gave all as a player on the Ravens football team. He was affectionately called “Mighty Mouse” for his determination and dedication to succeed. His favorite colors were lime green and pink. As an avid reader, he had already finished The Hunger Games series and was currently reading The Fifth Wave. Above all, he was a loving and loved son, brother, grandson and nephew. He is survived by his mother, Caitlin Danielle Barker and step father, Mitchell Wiggins of Abilene, Texas; father, Dusty Joe Stanfill; two brothers, Jonathan of Austin, Texas and Levi Wiggins of Odessa, Texas; four sisters, Alyssa Barker of Abilene, Texas, Karly Green of Abilene, Texas, Sandra Wiggins of Abilene, Texas and Callie Hogue of Odessa, Texas; paternal grandmother, Ginger Stanfill of Odessa, Texas; paternal grandfather, Brett Pilkerton (PawPaw) of Odessa, Texas; maternal grandparents, Kenneth (Pappy) and LeAnn (Memaw) of Odessa, Texas; step paternal grandmother, Judy Hall of Odessa, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. A viewing will be held at American Heritage Chapel on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at American Heritage Chapel on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved great grandmother, immediately after the service. There will be a reception on Monday, January 18, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Jacob’s honor at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge , 1344 E. 7th Street, Odessa, Texas , 79760. The family sends their deep appreciation to TCLA Abilene, Ravens Football and Cheerleading, The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Buena Vida Nursery, Madison Medical Resort, GoFundMe.com, and everyone who has provided emotional and financial support during this time of need.
