Ivy Lyne Claxton

Ivy Lyne Claxton, also known as Ivernikiss Beauburnikiss, was just 2 years old when heaven decided it needed another perfect angel. Ivy was born on March 16th, 2022 and was an angel from the moment she entered the world. An angel on earth her mom would call her. Gone too soon, Ivy's life was lost July 23rd, 2024. 2 years and 4 months we were given with Ivy girl, before God decided Ivy was ready for heaven. Ivy isn't a girl you can easily describe. Aside from her absolute obvious outside beauty, she had the most beautiful soul on the inside. She truly had so much love in her heart and thoughtfulness coursing through her always. Some pictures will beg to differ, but Ivy really was all smiles all the time. She was always so thankful for anything you'd do for her, and she'd let you know. Ivy was fearless, and she grew up and adapted to things quicker than most two-year-old girls typically would, but she needed to keep up with her two wild, older brothers. And she definitely kept up with them, if anything she surpassed them in many things and encouraged THEM to do and try things. Ivy will be remembered for her absolutely beautifully blue eyes, her amazing smile and her unique and precious personality. Quick story of Ivy's life; she slept through the night from day ONE for us! At the hospital, she was my only baby to not go to the NICU, the only baby I got to spend time with in the hospital, and she slept through the night for me. And every day since we brought her home, she slept through the night for me. The nights where she'd need to be changed, she'd go right back to bed for me. She was in a toddler bed in no time, putting HERSELF to sleep, as if she wasn't perfect enough in every other way, my last child, my beautiful baby girl, was a sleeper from the start and I was so grateful. Josh and I were trying to mentally prepare for all the sleepless nights, and sweet Ivy girl gave us none. With no shame, I would tell anyone and everyone that Ivy was my favorite, for so many reasons. I guess she and I and her dad just needed that extra love for the short time she was here. Ivy is survived by her parents Lauryn and Josh Claxton and her older brothers Dominic and Clifford Claxton. Her aunt and uncle Samantha and Joey Gagliardi. Her great grandmother's Parrilee Barnes and Loretta Leroux. Her grandfather Chuck Claxton, great grandfather J.L. Claxton and uncle Jake Claxton. Her cousins Jace, Bentley, Maeson and Tanner Gagliardi. Ivy is preceded in death by her adoring grandmother Linda Iverne Claxton, her great grandmother Lynelle Claxton, her great grandfather Clifford Barnes and her great Aunt Monica Barnes. Ivy's memorial service will be held on August 2nd at 3 pm at American Heritage Funeral Home. We encourage you to wear pinks or florals or just anything comfortable.
