Guadalupe Alvarado Estrada

Guadalupe Alvarado Estrada, 67, of Midland, TX passed away on March 26, 2021 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. Guadalupe was born on November 30, 1953 to Pedro and Amelia (Garcia) Alvarado in Juarez, Mexico. She married Jesus G. Estrada on February 24, 1973, in San Fernando, California. Lupe was a loving wife, mother, sister, adoring grandmother and great grandmother as well as a caring sister in law and aunt. Her family remembers her as charitable, selfless, and devoted to her church, taking part in numerous church events throughout the years. For many years, she and her husband, Jesus, directed the Spanish Prayer Group at Our Lady of Guadalupe. She was also a CCD teacher for adults. She was a longtime employee of Teraco, Inc. where she made innumerable, lifelong friends. Though she will be greatly missed by those who loved and cherished her, she will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her spouse, Jesus G. Estrada; one son, Gabriel Estrada (Evelina); five grandchildren, Sarah Lujan (Rene Jr.), Michael Estrada, Gabriella Estrada, Lucia Estrada, and Samuel Estrada; one great-grandson, Matthew Lujan; and seven siblings, Isabel Duarte (Alfonso), Elena Alderete (John), Teresa Alvarado, Antonia Alvarado, Angela Alvarado, Raul Alvarado, and Claudia Alvarado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Amelia (Garcia) Alvarado and five siblings, Dolores Navarette, Simona Montes, Pedro Alvarado, Socorro Alvarado, and Amparo Alvarado. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 30 th, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine with Father David Herrera officiating. Lupe era una esposa, madre, hermana, abuela, bisabuela, cu�ada y t�a cari�osa. Su familia la recuerda como caritativa y dedicada a su iglesia, participando en numerosos eventos de la iglesia a lo largo de los a�os. Durante muchos a�os, ella y su esposo, Jes�s, dirigieron el Grupo de Oraci�n en Espa�ol en Nuestra Se�ora de Guadalupe. Tambi�n fue maestra de CCD para adultos. Fue empleada durante mucho tiempo de Teraco, Inc., donde hizo innumerables amigos para toda la vida. Aunque los que la amaron y apreciaron la extra�ar�n mucho, vivir� para siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos. Le sobreviven su esposo, Jes�s G. Estrada; un hijo, Gabriel Estrada (Evelina); cinco nietos, Sarah Lujan (Rene Jr.), Michael Estrada, Gabriella Estrada, Lucia Estrada y Samuel Estrada; un bisnieto, Matthew Lujan; y siete hermanos, Isabel Duarte (Alfonso), Elena Alderete (John), Teresa Alvarado, Antonia Alvarado, Angela Alvarado, Raul Alvarado y Claudia Alvarado. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Pedro y Amelia (Garc�a) Alvarado y cinco hermanos, Dolores Navarette, Simona Montes, Pedro Alvarado, Socorro Alvarado y Amparo Alvarado. La visitacion se llevar� a cabo el martes 30 de marzo de 2021 a partir de las 10:00a - 5:00p en la funeraria American Heritage. Se llevar� a cabo un rosario el martes 30 de marzo de 2021 a las 6:30 pm en la Parroquia y Santuario de Nuestra Se�ora de Guadalupe. Los servicios funerarios ser�n el mi�rcoles 31 de marzo de 2021 a las 2:00 PM en la Parroquia y Santuario de Nuestra Se�ora de Guadalupe con el Padre David Herrera oficiando.
