Chandler Roland Trost July 16, 1993 - May 17, 2026 Chandler Roland Trost, 32, of Midland, Texas, passed from this life on May 17, 2026, at Midland Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Chandler was born on July 16, 1993, in Midland, Texas, to Michael and Leanna Trost. He was the baby of the family by many years - a beautiful surprise who brought new joy, laughter, and energy into the lives of everyone around him. From the beginning, Chandler had a personality that could never be ignored. He was full of life, full of charm, and always seemed to keep those around him smiling. A man of strong faith and a compassionate heart, Chandler cared deeply for people. He was gregarious, stylish, and known for his unforgettable smile. He loved making others laugh and had a mischievous streak that often led to stories his family and friends will cherish forever. As mischief sometimes does, it occasionally got him into trouble, but Chandler faced every challenge life placed before him with determination and perseverance. No matter what came his way, he continued to push forward with strength, humor, and heart. Chandler was a loyal and devoted friend, the kind of person who showed up when people needed him most. He was blessed with many close friendships throughout his life, and those friendships meant everything to him. He was also a wonderful brother and a proud, loving uncle who adored spending time with his nieces and nephews. His family was his foundation, and he loved them fiercely. His mother shared how privileged she and his late father felt to have Chandler as their son - a sentiment deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten. He is survived by his loving mother, Leanna Trost; his siblings, Ken Preston, Heather Preston (Carl Blackburn), Amber Preston, and Brandi Frederick; his cherished nephews, Colton Frederick and Phoenix Preston; his beloved nieces, Emery Blackburn and Saylor Blackburn; and his maternal uncle, Kenneth Carrol Williams (Karla). Chandler was preceded in death by his father, Michael Barry Trost. A viewing will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at American Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 5 PM until 8 PM. Though he is gone from this earthly life, Chandler's smile, humor, faith, and loving heart will remain forever in the memories of those blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. A memorial service to honor Chandler's life will be held at a later date.
