Antonio Munoz Rodriguez, 61, of Odessa, TX passed from this life on October 22, 2023, at his home, surrounded by loved ones, in Odessa, Texas. Antonio was born on April 26, 1962, to Marcelo Munoz Flores and Merced Rodriguez Soto in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Zulema (Dominguez) on September 26, 1981, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico. He cherished every moment behind the wheel of his mighty 18-wheeler, relishing the boundless freedom it afforded him. His generosity knew no bounds, and he possessed a heart of purest gold, completely devoid of selfishness. Antonio's life was a melody of limitless love, passion for music and singing, and a brilliant smile that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he left behind. He is survived by his spouse, Zulema Munoz; three children, Glenda Munoz (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Crystal Munoz (Jose Luis Gonzalez, Jr.), and Anthony Munoz (Orais Camacho); three grandchildren, Jaidan Sayers, Alyssa Sayers and Dayami Munoz; step-grandchildren, Gilbert, Savannah, JoDavid, Isiah, and Itzamari; his great-grandchildren, Myles Gray, Adaleigh Rose; three siblings, Adolfo Munoz (Esperanza), Alfonso Munoz, and Aurora Martinez (Ruben); sisters in law Lupe C. Munoz, and Lupe R. Munoz; beloved family Nora Sosa, Linda Munoz, Yolanda Morales and Javier Huitron as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcello Munoz and Merced Rodriguez Soto; two brothers, Arturo Munoz and Jose Munoz; and his sister-in-law, Mary Helen Munoz. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the American Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Hugo Martinez officiating. Muñoz y Lupe R. Muñoz; la querida familia Nora Sosa, Linda Muñoz, Yolanda Morales y Javier Huitrón, así como numerosos tíos, tías, sobrinos y primos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Marcelo Muñoz y Merced Rodríguez Soto; dos hermanos, Arturo Muñoz y José Muñoz; y su cuñada, Mary Helen Muñoz. Se llevará a cabo un velorio el viernes 27 de octubre de 2023, de 12:00 PM a 8:00 PM. Un funeral se celebrará el sábado 28 de octubre de 2023, a las 12:00 PM en la Funeraria American Heritage, con la oficiación del Anciano Hugo Martínez.
