It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Agustina Teresa Ramirez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on March 5, 2025, in Odessa, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old. Agustina was born on January 25, 1950, in La Junta, Colorado, to a loving family. In November 1967, she married Roberto Manuel Ramirez Franco, El AMOR de Su VIDA, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and devotion. They lived in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico, where Agustina was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community. She was a woman of great strength and compassion, always putting others before herself. Agustina's legacy is one of unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters and a cherished grandmother, whose gentle spirit and nurturing presence will be missed by all who knew her. She created a home filled with laughter, comfort, and the sweetest memories that we will hold in our hearts forever. Her memory will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones whose lives she touched in meaningful ways. May she rest in eternal peace. Agustina is preceded in death by her parents, Andalecio Romero and Emelia Young, and siblings Charlie Romero, Louie Romero, Johnny Romero, and Ida Lozano. Agustina is survived by her husband, Roberto Manuel Ramirez; daughters, Margaret Santillan and husband Gregorio Santillan, Anita Palomares and husband Juan Palomares, and Laura Ramirez. Siblings: Pearl Retana and husband Jose Luis Retana, Margaret Diaz and husband Luie Diaz, and brothers George Romero, Andy Romero, Henry Romero, and Max Romero. Grandchildren: Connie Santillan, Jessica Snider, Dana Lujan, Gregory Santillan, LeeAnna Cervantes, Dennissa Hinojosa, Jesus Manuel Samaniego, Gina Hinojosa, Lupita Samaniego, and Analise Samaniego. Great-grandchildren: David Snider, Alyna Gutierrez, Hailey Lujan, Ariel Snider, Agustin Gutierrez, Laila Lujan, Devin Snider, Luna Lujan, Gregory Santillan III, and four great-grandbabies, Treyvon and Cedee Samaniego. Pallbearers will be Gregory Santillan, Jesus Manuel Samaniego, Analise Samaniego, Isaac Gutierrez, Ken Snider, Johnny Lujan, Layne Andrade, Pedro Cisneros Salgado, Aden Snider, and Agustin Gutierrez. All services will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, 4100 N FM 1788, Midland, TX 79707. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday, March 11th, from 2-6, with the rosary beginning at 6 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by burial services. Agustina's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love and support during this difficult time.
