    Larry H. Carlisle

    September 12, 1954 - August 18, 2018

Larry H. Carlisle, 63, of Odessa passed away August 18, 2018. He was born September 12, 1954 to the late Harold and Marjorie Carlisle in Augusta, GA. He is survived by his wife, Julie B. Carlisle; children, Erik Lehmann, Jody Vercher and Molly Jones; brother, John Carlisle; and three nieces, Amber, Katrina and Chandra, whom he loved dearly. Larry was deeply loved by his friends and family. His southern charm and manners where immediately apparent to all that knew him. He was an all around nice guy, but don’t make him mad!   Larry was a “techie”. He loved his electronics and computers. He owned his own business, designing and building metal buildings. He even designed and built several metal buildings around town. Larry loved current events and was ready to discuss them with anyone willing to talk. He liked to have an occasional scotch and cigar. Larry knew the value of heavenly things and had placed his trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a member Redeemer Lutheran Church of Odessa, and they mourn the loss of Larry along with the rest of friends and family today. More than all these things, Larry loved his family. His wife Julie and three children were nothing short than the light of his life. The world is a little less vibrant without Larry, but the love and memories we all shared with him will last many lifetimes to come. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Odessa. Arrangements are entrusted to American Heritage Cemetery/Funeral Home/Crematory in Midland.
