Jesus Manuel Hernandez Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jesus Manuel Hernandez was 62 years old and living in Midland, Tx, on February 22, 2018 surrounded by his family he was called home to be with our Lord and savior. Born to Cirilo & Eusebia (Salcido) Hernandez on December 25, 1955 in Las Nieves, Durango, Mexico and was one of twelve children. Jesus married Maria (Gonzales) Hernandez at a very young age and where able to celebrate 42 years of marriage. Together they were blessed with the birth of 4 children, Lina (Hernandez) Prieto, Mayela (Hernandez) Montano, Betty Hernandez, and Manuel Hernandez; 9 grandchildren Jonathan, Veronica, Nathalie, David, Jahir, Vanessa, Victoria, Xander, and Valerie. He was also privileged enough to celebrate 2 great grandchildren before his passing. In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren he leaves behind 2 sisters Socorro Garay and Ramona Rios and a brother Ventura Hernandez and his beloved dog Teddy. Of his many past times Jesus enjoyed watching soccer and spending time with his family. One of his yearly highlights was celebrating his birthday as a christmas baby. Funeral services for Jesus are as follows; viewing will be Sunday February 25, 2018 at American Heritage, 4100 N FM 1788, Midland, TX from 10 am to 5 pm. The family will have a rosary at San Miguel Catholic Church 1100 Camp St. Midland, Tx from 7 pm to 9 pm following the viewing. Mass will be held in his honor on Monday February 26, 2018 at 10 Am at San Miguel as well, burial will be immediately after mass at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery 6800 TX-349 Midland, Tx. “I’ll hold him safe in my heart, Until I hold him in heaven”
