    Denny Charles Rambo

    July 29, 1947 - March 28, 2018

Denny (Dinky) Charles Rambo Sr., 70, of Midland, TX, went to be with the Lord after a short battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Ranchland Heights Baptist Church. Denny was born on July 29, 1947 to Joy Frances and Denny (Gene) Eugene Rambo in Kermit, TX. He married Kaye Roberts on December 21, 1966. For the majority of his career he was a truck driver, and was recently employed with Troy Vines, Inc. He spent a large majority of his career at Midland Concrete with Joe Hopkins as his boss and friend. When he was not working, he looked forward to spending his time with family and friends, as well as going to Denny’s and going around to flea markets and consignment shops to see what he could buy for other people. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley any chance he could. Anyone who got the honor to meet Denny knew that he had a heart of gold and always thought of others before himself. He was preceded in death by his Father, Gene Rambo, and his mother, Frances Rambo. He is survived by his wife, Kaye Rambo of Midland, TX; daughters Denise Linnenkugel of Gilbert, AZ, Frances Gilbreath of Stamford, TX, and Debra Mallory and husband Wes of Noble, OK; son Denny (D.J.) Rambo Jr. of Midland, TX; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being made by American Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory of Midland, TX. Flower arrangements can be sent to Ranchland Heights Baptist Church.
